Trail description
A two-day out-and-back trek from the village of Breaza by forest tracks and a long ridge path onto the main ridge of the Făgăraș, over the Urlea saddle and down to Lacul Urlea, a glacial lake below the Urlea peak, with the night at the lake refuge or in a tent. The ridge reaches about 2,340 m and is exposed to wind and storms.
