Trail description

A 4.1 km climb from the road end near the Îlet des Salazes, in Cilaos, to the Col du Taïbit (2081 m), the pass between the cirques of Cilaos and Mafate that the GR R1 and GR R2 cross. The path passes the Îlet des Salazes on the way up.
