Col des Boeufs to Marla

Trail description

A walk of about 7.1 km from the Col des Boeufs car park, above Salazie, over the col into the cirque of Mafate and across the Plaine aux Sables to Marla, at about 1,600 m the highest îlet of Mafate. Mafate has no road, so Marla's gîtes are supplied by helicopter; book a night in one of them to walk on to Cilaos over the Col du Taïbit.
