Chemin Crémont

Trail description

A 9.8 km walk on the Chemin Crémont, also called the Chemin des Anglais, from La Possession across the ravines to Saint-Bernard in the La Montagne district of Saint-Denis, passing La Grande Chaloupe on the way. Laid out in 1730 and roughly paved with basalt since 1775, it was used by the British to take Saint-Denis from behind in July 1810 and was listed as a historic monument in 2014.
