Mount Kitanglad via Intavas

Trail description

The Intavas route up Mount Kitanglad in Bukidnon, through mossy forest to the 2,899 m summit, the fourth highest in the Philippines and home of the Philippine eagle. About 9.1 km out and back with some 1,150 m of climbing; most groups take two days and camp below the top. A permit from the Mount Kitanglad Range Natural Park office, a ritual with the indigenous guides and a local guide are required.
