Trail description
A 4 km out and back walk with about 140 m of climbing from the car park at the end of the road up the path to the front of the Pastoruri glacier at about 5,000 m, in the south of Huascarán National Park. The glacier has retreated fast and the walk shows how much ice has gone. At this altitude walk slowly, and a park ticket is required.
