Laguna Lasuntay at Huaytapallana

Trail description

A 7.1 km walk with about 280 m of climbing from the Abra Huaytapallana on the road from Huancayo along the high track to Laguna Lasuntay, a turquoise lake at about 4,550 m below the glaciers of the Huaytapallana range, which is sacred to the people of the Mantaro valley. Walk slowly at this altitude.
