Laguna Artesoncocha from Laguna Parón

Trail description

A 5.6 km walk with about 200 m of climbing from Laguna Parón along the shore and up the moraine to the viewpoint over Laguna Artesoncocha, a glacial lake below the ice of Artesonraju, the peak often said to be the model for the Paramount logo. The walk stays above 4,150 m. A Huascarán National Park ticket is required.
