Makra Peak from Siri Paye

Trail description

From the Siri Paye meadows above Shogran a trail climbs about 6 km to the summit of Makra Peak (3885 m), a trek of 3 to 4 hours one way. It is rated moderate to challenging and goes well above 3500 m, so fitness and acclimatisation matter; the usual season is June to September. People have died here in bad weather, especially thick fog, and a local guide who knows the route is recommended.
