Wakan Village Terraces Walk

Trail description

A short climb of about 1.1 km and 110 m from Al Qurah up the steep track and stairs to Wakan, a village of terraced orchards at about 1,450 m on the Jebel Akhdar slopes above Wadi Mistal. The terraces are best in spring when the apricot and peach trees flower, and the top of the village looks down the whole valley.
