Misfat al Abriyeen to Sharaf al Alamayn (W9/W10h)

Trail description

Trekking route W9 leaves the terraced mud-brick village of Misfat al Abriyeen on an old donkey path, crosses the wadi and climbs more than 1,000 m to a ridge junction at about 2,000 m with views over Wadi Bani Awf. From there W10h follows the high ridge to Sharaf al Alamayn on the mountain road. Tour operators rate the combined walk intermediate and allow 5 to 6 hours; the paths carry painted waymarks.
