Tomoros Peak in Galicica

Trail description

Tomoros (1,675 m) is a summit on the Prespa side of Galicica National Park, reached from the asphalt park road that crosses the massif between Ohrid and Prespa. A dirt track leads north along the grassy upper slopes and then climbs to the top, where several antennas stand. It is about 4 km one way with roughly 300 m of ascent. The ridge is lined with trenches from the First World War, and the summit gives wide views over Lake Prespa and the Galicica range.
