Trail description

A steep walk from Lokoja up the winding road of Mount Patti to its summit plateau, where Lord Lugard's colonial rest house, a baobab tree and broadcasting masts stand above the town. Daily Trust puts the climb from the foot of the mountain to the top at about five kilometres on a road with many sharp turns, and the summit looks over Lokoja and the confluence of the Niger and Benue rivers.
