Playa Guasacate Tola

Trail description

Short out-and-back walk through the village of Guasacate in Tola, Rivas, down Calle Guasacate to the beach next to Popoyo on Nicaragua's Pacific coast. The long sandy beach is good for walking along the shore towards Popoyo. Thanks to the steady offshore winds, the area is known for surfing, with breaks such as the powerful Popoyo Outer Reef for experts. Mind the tides and currents before swimming.
