Pic Ngâ, Île des Pins

Trail description

The trail to Pic Ngâ (262 m), the highest point of the Île des Pins, starts from a clearing on the road between Kuto and Kanuméra, crosses dry forest and climbs a steep, rocky secondary ridge to a summit cross. The views cover the island, the Kuto and Kanuméra bays and the islets; the round trip is about 5 km and 1 hour 45 minutes. Access is free, dogs are not allowed and it is on customary land.
