Trail description

A climb up Mont-Dore, the peak that towers over the bay southeast of Noumea in New Caledonia. The PR-DOR1 path leaves the trailhead in the Mont-Dore suburbs and rises steeply through maquis scrub and forest on the red-earth slopes. It ends on the 772 meter summit with views over the lagoon and the reef.
