Trail description

A two day trek west of Pokhara from the Shiva statue at Pumdikot above Phewa Lake along forested ridges and through Gurung villages to Panchase Bhanjyang and up to Panchase peak at 2,515 m, with views from Dhaulagiri across the Annapurnas to Machhapuchhre. Simple lodges and homestays are found along the way, and the ridge is known for rhododendron forest in spring.
