Milarepa Cave from Braga

Trail description

A 3.5 km climb of about 680 m from Braga in the Manang valley across the Marsyangdi and up to the cave where the Tibetan poet and saint Milarepa is said to have meditated, at about 4,100 m below the north face of Annapurna IV. It makes a good acclimatisation day before the Thorong La. Foreign trekkers need the ACAP permit and, since 2023, a licensed guide.
