Ama Dablam Base Camp from Pangboche

Trail description

A 4.8 km climb of about 680 m from Pangboche at 3,930 m across the Imja Khola and up the grassy valley to Ama Dablam Base Camp at about 4,600 m, at the foot of the most elegant peak of the Khumbu. Most trekkers do it as an acclimatisation day and return to Pangboche. Foreign trekkers need the Sagarmatha National Park and Khumbu municipality permits.
