Trail description

A 2.7 km climb from the Daddy Dune car park in Sossusvlei to the crest of Big Daddy, at about 325 m the highest dune in the Sossusvlei area of Namib-Naukluft National Park. Below it lies Deadvlei, a white clay pan with dead camelthorn trees, and the dunes' orange colour comes from iron oxidised over many years.
