Trail description
One of the covered stairways on Sagaing Hill, the 240 m hill of pagodas across the Irrawaddy from Mandalay, climbs to Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda, built in 1312 on the southern crown of the hill. The pagoda terrace gives a wide view over the river and the surrounding stupas.
