Just outside Kolonia, the old Japanese road climbs Sokehs Ridge (Pohndolap) to World War II fortifications, where bunkers, buildings and anti-aircraft and long-range gun emplacements remain in the jungle. AllTrails lists about 4 km return; the climb gains around 200 m in heat and humidity.
