Trail description

A 4 km climb of about 870 m from Santa María de los Cocos in the Sierra Gorda of Querétaro up the forest path to the rim of the Sótano del Barro, a vertical shaft about 410 m deep where military macaws nest. The village charges a small fee and can provide a guide.
