Lagunas del Sol y de la Luna desde el Parque de los Venados

Trail description

An 8.5 km walk of about 960 m from the Parque de los Venados up into the crater of the Nevado de Toluca, past the Laguna del Sol, to the Laguna de la Luna. The path climbs from 3,730 m to 4,580 m on the rim, so walk slowly, acclimatise first and turn back with altitude symptoms; the park charges an entry fee.
