Cascada El Aguacero

Trail description

A 1.5 km out and back walk with about 170 m of climbing from the end of the road down the long stairway of more than 700 steps into the canyon of the La Venta river, where the El Aguacero falls pour in white cascades over mossy terraces. The climb back up the steps is steep. The falls are run by a community ecotourism centre that charges an entrance fee.
