Mare Sarcelle Trail Bras d'Eau

Trail description

A 5.5 km loop from the visitor centre of Bras d'Eau National Park, on the north-east coast near Poste Lafayette, out on the Mare Sarcelle Trail and back by the Coq de Bois loop. The park was established in 2011, and 200-year-old ruins of a sugar mill and a lime kiln stand in its forest. Mare Sarcelle, the largest of its ponds, is home to three migratory birds.
