Morne Césaire

Trail description

This ONF trail starts at the end of the Fond l'Étang forest road, off the Route de la Trace (N3) between the Donis arboretum and the former Colson hospital, and climbs through humid forest of mahogany, balisier, tree ferns and bois canon. From the top there is a view over the Bay of Fort-de-France and the Lamentin plain. The ground is often muddy and slippery, and you return the same way.
