Trail description
The Boucle du Vauclin starts from the Château Paille car park and follows the Atlantic coast past Anse Simon, Anse Balahou and Anse Maroquet to a fishing village and the lookout at Pointe du Vauclin. It continues through dry forest with giant cacti and through mangrove to the white sand cove of Trou Cochon before looping back, with little climbing. The route is popular all year, so go early in the morning or on a weekday.
