Trail description

The famous three-day trek in Gunung Mulu National Park: a longboat to Kuala Litut, a 9 km jungle walk to Camp 5 beside the Melinau River, then a brutal 2.4 km climb of about 1,200 m with ropes and steel ladders up Gunung Api to a viewpoint over the Pinnacles, a forest of razor-sharp limestone spires. The trek must be booked with the park, which requires a guide; the descent is as hard as the climb.
