Trail description

The climb of Gunung Raya, the highest point of Langkawi at 881 m, from the Lubuk Semilang recreation forest up the long stairway of Tangga Helang Seribu Kenangan through rainforest to the summit road and the top. About 8.2 km out and back with some 850 m of climbing; the last stretch is on the road. Go early to beat the heat.
