Isalo Natural Pool Walk

Trail description

A 1.1 km walk from the Sakasaka campsite in Isalo National Park to the Piscine Naturelle, the natural swimming pools below a waterfall that are among the park's most visited sights. Isalo is a sandstone massif cut by wind and water into canyons up to 200 m deep, home to ring-tailed lemurs, Verreaux's sifakas and red-fronted lemurs; a local guide is required.
