Juodlė Nature Trail

Trail description

This 3.5 km loop circles Lake Juodlė in the Ilga landscape reserve of Kurtuvėnai Regional Park, passing biodiverse bogs, key forest habitats, inland dunes and rare plants and animals. Twelve stations, from the lake islands and birds to the Gabriejolė hollow and the reed beds, explain the landscape along the way. The trail has information boards, bridges over streams, viewing platforms and a boardwalk deep into the bog, while the jetty to the island and its rest area are accessible for visitors with disabilities.
