Trail description
A 7.8 km out-and-back of about 70 m from Juodkrantė on the Curonian Spit through the pine forest to the viewpoint on the Avikalnis dune, looking over the great Grey Dunes and the Curonian Lagoon. Part of the way follows the forest cycle path; the dunes themselves are a protected area, so stay on the boardwalk at the top.
