Balzers to Triesen Lowland Walk

Trail description

A nearly flat 5.4 km walk from Balzers north to the edge of Triesen, out of the village through the Kohlbruck fields, along the Rheindamm, the embankment of the Rhine, and on field tracks across the valley floor. Balzers, in the south of the country, stretches along the east bank of the Rhine, with Gutenberg Castle rising between it and Mäls. Triesen, the country's third largest municipality, has several historic churches from the fifteenth century, and its lowest point, on the Liechtenstein inland canal, lies at 457 m.
