It passes the famous Baatara sinkhole, two large stone reservoirs, the ruins of Saydet Zwiela, the plain of Marj Rima and Tim Rtiba mountain before descending to Aaqoura. The route is about 19 km with some 1250 m of ascent and is mostly on footpaths. There are many springs, and in winter the plateau is snow covered.
