Trail description
A 6.8 km climb of about 1,070 m on the Donnaeko trail from the edge of Seogwipo up through broadleaf forest and dwarf bamboo to the Nambyeok junction below the south wall of Hallasan, the highest mountain in South Korea. It is the quietest of the Hallasan trails and the steepest on the south side. The summit crater itself is not reached from here: walkers continue to Witse Oreum and descend by the Yeongsil or Eorimok trail, and the national park closes the trail entrance in the early afternoon.
