Trail description

A 4.8 km climb from Sabache Camp on the trail up Mount Ololokwe, the flat-topped mountain of about 2,000 m that rises above the semi-arid plains of Samburu County, ending on the edge of its summit plateau. Its proper name is Ol Donyo Sabache; Ololokwe means wide head in the Samburu language, and the mountain is sacred to the Samburu people.
