Trail description

Jordan Trail section 102 (21.9 km, about 8 hours, rated difficult) runs south from the Sharhabil bin Hassneh gate at Ziglab above the Jordan Rift Valley, then over hilltops and down past hot springs and a natural arch to the Greco-Roman ruins of Pella. It then climbs the valley of Wadi el Jirim behind the ruins through pines to upland meadows, past a Byzantine church ruin and the Jesus Cave to the village of Beit Idis.
