Wadi Hidan to Wadi Mujib

Trail description

Jordan Trail section 402 (14.7 km, about 7 hours, rated challenging) crosses the Hidan river (water level permitting) and climbs on a path to the south rim of the canyon and an RSCN lookout above both the Hidan and Mujib gorges. A Bedouin shepherds' path then descends steeply through cliffs into the Mujib Gorge, entering its lower reaches by a path built down a cliff, and the day ends by wading the river to the camping areas.
