Hamptonne Woods Loop, St Lawrence

Trail description

Hamptonne Woods is a National Trust for Jersey site of wet meadows and wooded côtils in Waterworks Valley, between Mont Gavey and the foot of Mont Suzanne, beside the Hamptonne Country Life Museum. A footpath of about half a kilometre follows an old mill leat through the woods and pairs with the Millennium Footpath across the valley to make a short return loop, passing German wartime ammunition caches and shelters. There is a small car park at the southern end of the footpath.
