Ein Avdat Canyon

Trail description

A one-way walk up the white chalk canyon of Ein Avdat in the Negev, from the lower car park in Nahal Zin along the stream to the spring-fed pools and waterfall, then up rock-cut steps and ladders to the upper car park on the canyon rim. Look for ibex and griffon vultures. The walk is one way only, so arrange a pick-up at the top; a national park ticket is needed.
