Trail description

A climb of about 7.6 km and 650 m from Laxey up the Laxey valley past the Great Laxey Wheel and the old mine workings, then over the moor to Snaefell, at 621 m the highest point of the Isle of Man. From the summit you can see England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland on a clear day; the Snaefell Mountain Railway offers a way back down to Laxey in season.
