Trail description

Bishopscourt Glen is a narrow Manx National Glen of about 5 hectares on the A3 just north of Kirk Michael, stretching about half a mile from the road towards the hills. Once the private garden of the Bishops of Sodor and Man at Bishop's Court, it has small lakes made from old mill ponds, the artificial mound of Mount Aeolus at the entrance, and a small cave with a carved stone seat said to have sheltered Bishop Murray during the 1825 tithe riots.
