A 5.7 km climb of about 470 m from Rossadrehid in the Glen of Aherlow on a lane, forest tracks and the Lake Muskry Trail to Lough Muskry, a corrie lake under the steep northern cliffs of the Galtee Mountains. The last part crosses open boggy ground, often wet underfoot.
