Trail description

A walk to Khan Murjan in old Baghdad, a superbly preserved medieval caravanserai with a grand vaulted hall beside the Murjan mosque. Its brick arcades recall the merchants and travellers of Abbasid times. A hidden gem in the lanes of the old city.
