Trail description

The wild Torean route on Lombok from the end of the road above Torean up the deep Kokok Putih gorge, past waterfalls and hot springs, to the Segara Anak crater lake below the summit of Rinjani. About 20 km out and back with some 1,640 m of climbing; walkers take two days and camp by the lake. Treks must be booked through the eRinjani system, and a licensed guide is strongly advised on this steep and exposed route.
