Trail description

The long and steep Linggarjati route up Mount Ciremai, at 3,078 m the highest mountain in West Java, from Linggarjati near Kuningan through forest to the crater rim. About 15 km out and back with some 2,240 m of climbing; most walkers take two days and camp at the upper posts. Climbers book with Ciremai National Park, which closes the mountain in the wet season.
