Salher Fort

Trail description

A 4.2 km climb of about 590 m from the village of Salher through gateways and rock-cut steps to the top of Salher, at 1,567 m the highest fort in the Sahyadri and the second highest peak in Maharashtra, with a temple of Parshuram on the summit. The views take in the Dang forests and the Sahyadri forts around.
