Trail description
A 14.4 km climb of about 2,110 m from Sagar near Gopeshwar through forest and the vast meadows of Panar Bugyal to the cave temple of Rudranath at about 3,600 m, one of the Panch Kedar temples, where Shiva is worshipped as a face. It usually takes two days, with a night at Panar or Pitradhar. The temple is open only from May to October.
