Tubes

Trail description

A 4.5 km climb with 436 m of ascent from Magyarürögi út in Donátus, Pécs, up the Deindol valley past the Béke and Isten-kút springs and over Lapis to the János lookout on the summit of the Tubes. At 611 m the Tubes is the second-highest peak of the Mecsek and the highest of the western Mecsek; a ridge links it south-east to the Kis-Tubes and the Misina, a woodland rich in plant communities and a favourite excursion area for Pécs.
